The Lake District in the United Kingdom is a beautiful and inspiring region that is known for its stunning natural beauty. As a result, many interior design trends in the area are inspired by the surrounding landscape. If you’re looking to bring the beauty of the Lake District into your home, the team at Inkwood Interiors can help. In this blog post, we’ll take a look at some of the interior design trends in the Lake District and how Inkwood Interiors can help you bring them into your home.

  1. Earthy Tones: The earthy tones found in the Lake District are reflected in the colour palettes used in local interior design. Deep greens, warm browns, and natural stone shades are popular choices for both walls and furnishings. These colours help to create a harmonious and relaxing atmosphere in your home.
  2. Natural Fabrics: Another trend in the Lake District is the use of natural fabrics in interior design. Linen, wool, and cotton are popular choices for curtains, blinds, and cushions. These fabrics are soft and comfortable, perfect for creating a cozy and inviting space.
  3. Bold Accents: Despite the natural, rustic feel of many Lake District interiors, bold accents are also popular in the area. Think brightly coloured throw cushions, bold artwork, or a statement lighting piece. These accents can help to create a lively and dynamic atmosphere in your home.

These are just a few of the interior design trends in the Lake District, and the team at Inkwood Interiors can help you bring them into your home. Whether you’re looking for advice on choosing the right colours, fabrics, or curtains, we can help. Drop into our Kendal store, or give us a call, to find out more and get started on creating the Lake District-inspired home of your dreams.
